Angry mom pulls out knife at Kamloops school

Authorities in Kamloops were forced to lock down a local school Tuesday after a woman pulled out a knife.

The incident happened outside of Kamloops Christian School where a foster mom was dropping off two children.

Police said the children’s biological mother showed up and threatened the foster mom.

They said the biological mother attempted to take the two children and pulled out a knife when the foster mother attempted to intervene.

Police said someone from inside the school rushed to the foster mother’s aid and the other woman fled the scene in her car — without the children.

The biological mother was arrested at her home.

The incident forced officials to lock down the school until the suspect was apprehended.
